Tata Nano is now ready to be delivered to first batch of eagerly waiting 1 lakh allotees, selected through a computerised random selection process while bookings being more than double to the company's originally delivery schedule of 1 lakh units in the first phase of allotment.
These deliveries will start from next month and would be completed by the last quarter of 2010. The selected applicants will be contacted individually and those who are not selected in the first phase may retain their bookings and will be given preferential allotment in the second phase.
