Bajaj To Exit Scooter Market

Yesterday Bajaj Auto said goodbye not only to the traffic with the launch of Pulsar 135LS but to the Scooter Market too as they announced to stop making scooter.

"We want to become a motorcycle specialist and do not want to distract ourselves by scooters and mopeds...we cannot get greedy and try to do everything. We are not developing scooters. We have no scooter on the drawing board."Bajaj said.

Equipped with robust 3 Litre V6 TDI (diesel) engine with 6 speed DSG gear box, the Touareg develops its enormous power of 240HP at 4000-4400 rpm and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.8 seconds. The Touareg offers an electric sliding/tilting sunroof for driver comfort and enjoy the view from the inside. New Beetle Launched In India

Volkswagen, Europe’s largest car maker on Monday announced the launch of the iconic - New Beetle in India.

The prise tag of New Beetle is of Rs. 20.45 lakhs (ex-Showroom Delhi). This marvel design of German Engineering is euipped with 2.0 ltr. 4 cylinder petrol engine with an output of 115HP at 5400 rpm. And it is paired with 6-speed automatic transmission. On safety part, the New Beetle is equipped with 4 airbags, Anti-lock braking system (ABS), Electronic Stabilisation Programme (ESP) and Engine Immobilizers.

Other key features are, 6 CD changers, power steering, body coloured exterior mirror housings, tailgate handle, heat insulating tinted glass and 15" alloy wheels.
